Attending participants will work together to create “ready to read” Children’s Ministry Object Lessons relating to the Community of Christ's kly themes for the remaining lectionary year. The finished package of resources will be made available to all Heart of Texas Mission Center Congregations.
Light lunch will be provided.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUMS 2009
INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI AND LA BUENA FE, HONDURAS

In 2009 the International Youth Forum will be held in Independence, Missouri and in 3 other locations around the world. Youth from Coastal Bend and Heart of Texas Mission Centers are invited to attend the IYF in Independence, and 2 youth from each of the mission centers will be able to attend the IYF at La Buena Fe in Honduras.
Youth who have completed 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades in the spring wil be eligible for either IYF event.
Dates for the IYF in Independence are July 21 to 24.
Dates for the IYF in Honduras are July 4 to 11.
Registration is required to attend either IYF.
Registration information and fees will be sent to congregations and published on the mission center web pages soon.
Because the number of youth from each mission center who will be able to attend the IYF in Honduras is limited, youth wishing to do so must apply, and a selection will be made among the applicants. Because international travel documents and arrangements must be made well in advance for the Honduras IYF, applications must be received by January 25. The selection will be made by January 31.
